Privacy Policy

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

• Account information: your name, email address, account credentials, and account settings.
• Document content: the information you enter in templates, including names and other information about you or third parties, and documents or drafts generated from that information.
• Document acknowledgment records: the version of the document disclaimer you accepted and the date and time of that acceptance.
• Billing information:subscription status, payment-related identifiers, transaction records, and billing history. Payment card details are collected and processed by Stripe, not stored by Easy Docs.
• Usage and device information:pages visited, navigation events, referring source, browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP address, and cookie identifiers, when you consent to analytics and advertising cookies.
• Communications: the information you provide when you contact us for support or exercise privacy rights.

We use personal information to:

• provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service;
• create, save, and export the documents you request;
• authenticate users, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms;
• process subscriptions, trials, payments, cancellations, and refunds;
• respond to support requests and communicate about your account;
• understand website use and campaign performance after you consent to optional cookies; and
• comply with legal, accounting, tax, and recordkeeping obligations.

We do not use Your Content or account information to train artificial-intelligence models. Easy Docs does not currently use AI to generate or review your documents.

We use essential cookies required for security, login, and core Service functionality. We ask for your permission before enabling optional analytics and advertising cookies. If you accept, Google Analytics and Google Ads may collect information about visits, pages or navigation events, cookie identifiers, device/browser information, referring source, and campaign interactions to help us measure use and advertising performance.

We do not use document content, template field values, or payment-card information for advertising. We do not sell personal information for money and do not use your account or document content for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can decline optional cookies and continue using the Service with essential cookies only.

We may share personal information with service providers that process it for us:

• Supabase for authentication, database, and file-storage infrastructure;
• Stripe for payment processing and subscription management;
• Resend for transactional email delivery;
• Vercel for website hosting and delivery;
• Sentry for error monitoring and service reliability; and
• Google Analytics and Google Ads, only after you consent to optional cookies.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights, safety, or security, in connection with a corporate transaction, or with your direction or consent. We do not sell your personal information.

You may delete your account and documents from your account settings. We delete account information, document content, generated files, and consent records within 14 days of a completed deletion request, except where retention is necessary for security, fraud-prevention, legal, accounting, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Stripe may retain payment and transaction information under its own privacy policy and applicable financial, tax, and legal obligations. We may retain limited records needed to demonstrate consent, honor requests, prevent abuse, or comply with law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission, storage system, or security measure is completely secure. Please use a strong, unique password and keep your credentials confidential.

Regardless of where you live in the United States, you may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account. Depending on your state and the applicability of its privacy law, you may have additional rights, including the right to appeal a decision about your request. We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

The Service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 13. We do not permit anyone under 18 to use the Service. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate steps.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Service, our practices, or applicable law. We will post the updated effective date and, when required, provide additional notice or request consent.
